I fear that on disrobing me
you will find only straw and sawdust
but I have a game plan
I will start with the soles of your feet
softening them, then rubbing your toes
until they radiate in the shadows
I will then gravitate towards your knees
doing passionately whatever it is
that one does with knees
Next come your lobes
and exciting but intriguing prospect
ears are like camels
designed by a riot of bureaucrats
with no sense of design
or direction
what I am saying
is that I would approach your beauty
by stealth and determination
removing one veil at a time
until you are as vulnerable
as a new born baby
Only then would I undress.
