whatever it is
whatever it may
we cannot go forward
or even backwards
unless we slay our dragons.

veins plugged
circuits skewered
visions fogged
values dimmed
senses neutralised

so will we slay them
can we cross the fjord
can we reach a higher plateau
can we take a different path
can we rethink the dilemma

in which humanity finds itself
or are we condemned to repeat the crimes of yesteryear?
